Marmolada

The Marmolada is the 'queen of the Dolomites' at 3,342 m — and the flight from its summit down to Canazei is the very definition of a demanding alpinistic paragliding line. You climb on foot (mountaineering preparation, glacier travel skills and good conditioning are required), then take off from a glacier at high altitude, then glide down. Perfect weather is non-negotiable. This is not a day-trip site — anyone without full glacier skills should not attempt to move on this terrain.
