Noyers-sur-Serein (Clorges) is a Burgundy escarpment site facing SW and S, with a 70 m relief along a ridge that stretches from west to east. Three takeoffs step across the ridge: 'Clorges' — the main and best-yielding launch, 60 m, S to SSW, on the simpler side of the scale (level 2 out of 3), with top-landing possible or a bottom-landing across the river (walk back around a farm ~300 m to the right); 'Beauvais' — 40 m, SW to WSW, feels like a large training slope but is very much flyable from the top; and a third takeoff to the west with slightly different characteristics.

Launch & conditions

Three takeoffs along a ridge running west to east. Clorges — 60 m, S to SSW, main and highest yield, level 2 out of 3, top-landing possible (or bottom-land across the river and walk back). Beauvais — 40 m, SW to WSW, looks like a big training slope but flies well from the top.

Getting there & local rules

Cross Noyers and exit north-west. Just after leaving the village, take a right, then a stony track on the right (paraglider signpost) to reach the Clorges takeoff. For the other two takeoffs, exit Noyers straight ahead. About 2 km on, take an angled turn on tarmac up to the Ferme de Beauvais. The Beauvais takeoff is 100 m before the farm; the Clorges takeoff is accessible about 200 m past the farm.

Local rules & hazards

Consult the site information board on arrival. Prefer the top-landing option at Clorges when possible; a bottom-landing across the river requires the walk-around via the farm.

A day counts as flyable when the surface wind held in your range, from a direction the site flies, with no rain, for at least 2 hours in a row (08:00–20:00) — from hourly 10 m wind over the last 12 months. A seasonal wind guide only: it can't judge gusts, thermals or turbulence, and never replaces the live forecast, airspace checks and your own judgement.
