Aerodromo de Sonseca

Aeródromo de Sonseca is a microlight and paramotor airfield near the Montes de Toledo in central Spain, geared toward powered flying rather than classic foot-launch soaring — there's no thermal or ridge-soaring terrain described here, just a runway and open field for microlights and paramotors. On-site facilities include hangars, a bar, a barbecue area and toilets, with a winery-restaurant about 200 meters away for afterward. To find it, leave the N-401 near Sonseca onto the CM-4022 toward Villaminaya; about 2.2 km along, the airfield entrance is on the right, directly opposite the Villa El Retamar winery-restaurant. Pilots operating here should be on the published radio frequencies — the air band for microlights and a separate VHF frequency for paramotors — to stay coordinated with other traffic using the field.
