It's genuinely a two-season site in terms of difficulty. From December to March, the takeoff is easy, with snow cover smoothing out the terrain and the ropeway running to carry pilots up without a hike. Outside that winter window, the same launch is recommended for advanced pilots only, because large rocks are exposed across the takeoff area once the snow melts — terrain that felt simple under snow becomes a genuine hazard to navigate the rest of the year.
